Hi, I’m Halley the only girl on the Purple, Rock, Scissors Team. I handle everything from keeping the power on to invoicing our clients! I am married to and look forward to spending the rest of my life with the guy who also happens to be at the top of this page(Bobby). Currently, I only work part-time because my days are usually spent chasing after our 10month 2 year old Riley. I know it sounds cliche, but I really don’t know how I lived without him. He is the most amazing person I’ve ever met and I absolutely LOVE being his mommy. Other things I love are music, date nights, hanging out with my friends when I get the chance, art, chai tea lattes, my new Volkswagen, and traveling.
This past Thursday, I had the privilege of attending the packed gallery opening of IN/SIGHT 2010, a showcase of American Indian art at the Chelsea Art Museum. The event was sponsored by UNRESERVED Alliance – an organization devoted to fostering and encouraging the talents of American Indians, with whom we've recently partnered with to develop a social media strategy.
I finally got around to listening to Remarks on Internet Freedom made by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. This is powerful stuff and if history has a decent memory this should become a fairly prominent moment. In my mind, it is the first substantial framing of access to information via the internet as a universal human right. My only complaint is that her ideals fall flat on what I would consider to be an additional human right -- anonymity.
Hi guys! This is the best blog post on the internet. Because the internet cannot handle two best blog posts on the internet, this will be my last unless I decide the internet deserves an implosion of awesome.
